TIDUSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
I’m sure things will, thank you. <3
It’s almost 3pm and I just woke up…This is ridiculous, I need to go to bed earlier. Anyways, I know I’m super behind on replies but I really haven’t been in a rp mood lately. Hopefully, I can get at least something done today.
Sorry, but I much prefer human beings of the opposite sex.

Twenty four hours felt like twenty four long, agonizing days since she had last seen or heard from the reckless gunblader. Images of him continue to channel through her head, as she smiled inwardly, visualizing the appearance of his natural short spikes on his head, and his beautiful emerald eyes that could drag anyone into a state of tranquillity just by staring at them. And who could forget the distinctive scar that marked vertically on his forehead, assuming what he saw as a flaw, was perfection to her. Darn his good looks.
It was during his solo performance at Prom where they last laid eyes on each other, and Rinoa could remember every detail of his performance that night. The way his uplifting vocals sent chills throughout her body, and the spotlight that shone brilliantly on him enhanced his masculine facial features. Briefly closing her eyes she could hear the sound of his soothing voice automatically repeating itself in her head. She sighed audibly, If only he had stayed with her throughout the entire night. If only she was given the opportunity to dance with him just once under the sparkling disco ball. Then maybe, the night could of turned out to be what she had always dream of. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
A frown played on her lips as she began to wonder…Had she done something to repel him away from her? Frustrated, she couldn’t comprehend as to why he unknowingly disappeared. After all, wasn’t he the one whoaskedinsisted on escorting her to Prom?Laying silently on her bed. She rolled over onto her side, gazing attentively at the blue lily placed in a duo tone modern vase, resplendent in hues of green and blue. She couldn’t help but smile as her eyes lingered onto the delicate flower, recalling memories of the events they encountered during their first meeting.
It was a day full of surprises for both of them. From ditching detention, to unintentionally releasing a chunky substance onto his lap. She chuckled at the memory, remembering the feeling of hot flush rising onto the surface of her cheeks upon seeing him publicly shirtless. It was also the day her soft lips came in contact with his perfect cheek bones, and till this day she still couldn’t fully understand what caused her to make such a bold movement towards the scarred blonde.
Fast forward two months later and here she was alone at home, thinking about him. It was pathetic. The way she thought about him every five minutes like some love sick fool…Hmph, maybe she really was fool…A fool for liking him.
Indulge in her deep thoughts, she was then startled by the loud sound of her ring tone echoing lightly across the quiet bedroom. Glancing down onto the bright screen of her vibrating cellular device, she could feel her heart rate increasing, eyeing the name appearing through the transparent cover of her mobile.Seifer Almasy.
Answering the call with a click of a button, she hesitantly lifted the object to her ear. “Hello?” Her voice was a tad shaky, but not obvious enough to be detected through the other end of the conversation.
“Go outside,”
An expression of confusion spread on her face after hearing his prompt demand, and before she was able to question or utter another word, he hung up.
Based on his short ‘greeting’ over the phone. She made her way to the chic vanity furnished beautifully right next to her bed. Quickly running a bristle brush through her ebony locks. She figured he was waiting for her outside and wanted to at least look somewhat pleasing to the eye.Reaching the front entrance, she took a deep breath of air before slowly opening the etched glass door. “Hey…” she murmured, taking a quick second to curve her lips into the slightest smile.
“What are you doing here?” The tone of her voice was neither acerbic nor cheerful but rather tedious in a way she didn’t how to react to his unexpected visit.
Examining himself by looking at his reflection through the glass door behind the metallic railings, it glanced back at him, a dark stare of his own. Would he never get tired of this self-assessment bullshit? He’d long ago grown tired of being too conscious of this bullshit that was for damned sure. Now’s entirely different. He sure did change.
You’re a Hynedamned fuck, Almasy, he thought, you purposely ditched her. He sat on one of the benches, his back hunched against the wind and his trench coat collar pulled up around his neck. It’s extra hella cold tonight.
Really, the events at Prom have hit him hard. He had become frustrated, fed-up, and generally hated his guts. His last times spent with Rinoa had always been dreamy, hopeful, gentle and almost sad. True, the brunette was always genuinely kind to him and Seifer hadn’t known quite what to do with her, but he was never resentful when she shows him that side of her – he felt somewhat special, someone whom he could save like the one he’s been dreaming of when he was still young. She’s a princess and he’s just a self-proclaimed Knight. He really doesn’t like to be attached to her, he wanted to be aloof but her kind smile lured him in.
A blur cut across the courtyard, suddenly, the pound of running footsteps, heels echoing on marble floors in the ballroom, a sparkling blue sheath dress of blur, silver hair bobbing with every step.
Fujin?
He saw her barrel into one person, but kept going through the gates before the traditionally inept guard could stop her. He frowned, and then glanced behind him, looking to see if someone has seen him behind her. Nope.
What the hell was she running from?
“Not my problem,” he muttered, folding his arms and staring up the ceiling, blinding his emerald hues with the bright gleaming chandeliers. He narrowed his eyes. In fact, why wait to leave? No one would notice if he went now. All of the other students are shaking their tailfeathers at the dance floor by now.
You promised Rinoa you’d dance with her tonight…she asked you to, she’s expecting you to. A prickly sensation rose in his chest that felt suspiciously like a conscience. But Fujin…
Oh, hell no. Not this guilt shit again.
You didn’t promise her anything.
You just said you’d be taking her to Prom, sing, and here you are both…
Fine. You owe it to her, then.
So what if I promised her? People made promises all the time and broke them most of it. Nobody had ever made him any promises in his life except for his mother… her… and well, he’d sure as hell broken both of those.
He had been sitting out on one of the benches, his coat collar flipped up to cover his neck, staring at the silent cold night for like an hour. His mind was still wandering off; the night was peaceful, silent. He thought about the Prom, the cold…
“What are you doing here?”
Good question. What the hell was he doing here?
He grimaced suddenly, thinking of a Hynedamned lame excuse to leave.
I’m just gonna ask if I can borrow your Chocobo Riding 101 homework…
Seifer ran his hands over his face. “…Dance with me,” he whispered fiercely. He knew she’d ask him a thousand of questions why he’d say that. “I don’t know. Just dance with me.”
He took her hand, sliding it into his as he pressed her closer, silently wrapping his arm around her waist. He was a beautiful dancer. It was better than the first time they danced in to the carnival when they ditched detention. His grace had always been overshadowed by his arrogance… but not now. Forward, side, back, legs and hips twisted to a silent melody kept in his head. Little he knew he started humming the tune that he sang on the stage that night.
Warmth and music flowing around him, the cheerful chatter of the crowd and the lilting crescendo of the strings, his low husky voice…
He then stopped humming and looked at her, “I’m sorry, Rin…,” it quickly escaped from his lips almost a whisper, “…for everything.”
Cold hands clutch nervously onto the platinum ring that swung loosely with the brisk breeze, surrounding the pair of rebellious teenagers, while brown chestnut eyes unconsciously settled onto the reticent man seated silently across the female figure. His slouching posture and impassive facial expression displayed evidence of pensiveness, and it became apparent to the sorceress that he’d been pondering on about something prior to her appearance at the courtyard.
“…Just dance with me.”
His peremptory request and actions caught her off guard, as he casually stood up from the garden bench located just outside the front entrance of Caraway’s mansion. Surely, this was something Rinoa hadn’t expect from the man who constantly teased her on a daily basis, but before she could utter a single word. The burly male brought his arms around her slender frame and rested a hand on her slim waist, swiftly leading her into an elegant waltz.
“Seifer…” she whispered softly, following him in a series of steps and twirls. She had the urge to question his peculiar behaviour, but figured it was best to keep quiet as she didn’t want to ruin this enchanting moment.
Suddenly, she could hear the low, steady sound of his voice humming to a familiar tune. It was similiar to the one he performed on stage during Prom, and it wasn’t long till Rinoa could hear the lyrics appearing inside her head. Mentally singing along with him.
The music playing on
For only two so close
Together and when I’m

Feeling alive…
They swayed gracefully under the immense dark sky, feeling a hint of cold air hitting the surface of her skin which sent chills throughout her shivering body. The weather tonight reminded her of the long journey home from Prom, as she inwardly cursed herself for committing the same blunders of leaving her cell phone back at the mansion.
It wasn’t long till couples disseminated across the ballroom floor and into a congenial dance after the Prom Leaders had been announced by the Senior Vice President. Dressed in a black slim gown, with her dark locks curled beautifully to the side. She stood worriedly along the sidelines scanning the area for a particular blonde male, but her search failed when all she was able to detect were the various gowns twirling in mid air. ”Excuse me. Have you see Seifer anywhere?” she asked a young couple passing by. Their answers left her in sheer disappointment, generating a heavy sigh from the ravenette.
“I guess I should be heading home then.” she murmured to herself, walking back towards her assigned table and grabbing the trench coat that hung over the wooden chair.
Throwing the outerwear onto her slender body. She dipped both hands into the front pockets, expecting to grab an electronic device, but only came out empty handed.
Emitting a long, deep breathe. She shook her head in dismay. “It’s going to be a long walk home.”
“I’m sorry, Rin…for everything.”
His apologetic words pulled her away from her vivid memory, as she glanced up to meet his attractive jaded eyes, staring deeply into them with a look of curiosity.
What was he apologizing for? For ditching her at Prom? For forcing herself to walk six kilometres away from home all alone in the vast of darkness? What was everything?
“For everything?…What do you mean?…” she questioned him, slightly tilting her head to the side.
